  1. SuperTools is a set of 3 System7-only tools for everyday usage.
  2.  
  3. SuperPrint is a desktop printer:
  4. By default it uses the currently selected printer, to link it to a specific printer,
  5. just drag the printer driver icon on top of the SuperPrint icon.
  6. To print documents (folders and disk contents too) just drag them on the SuperPrint icon.
  7. It is also possible to accumulate files to be printed later: hold down the shift key
  8. when dragging them on top of the SuperPrint icon. They will be printed when SuperPrint
  9. will be launched by double clicking on its icon.
  10. To examine the list of accumulated files, launch SuperPrint while holding down the option key.
  11. A dialog will allow you to add and remove files from the list of accumulated files.
  12. When files have been printed the list is cleared. Future enhancments will included the
  13. generation of a log file.

  15. SuperLaunch is a tool to create set of applications|documents to be launched together.
  16. This means that you can created work configuration sets.
  17. It works in almost the same way as SuperPrint, except that holding down the shift key is not
  18. necessary since of course only the accumulation of documents is meaningfull.

  20. SuperTrash is a document eraser: before deleting a document it writes zero on top of its data.
  21. Be careful, this means that the document can no more be recovered by low-level tools such as SUM, 
  22. Norton, etc. It is only useful if you want to permanently erase data for security reasons.

  24. These SuperTools are NOT public domain softwares. They are just as proprietary as any commercially 
  25. distributed program you may have bought from a dealer. 
  26. The only difference is that they are distributed on a "try it before you buy it" basis, generally 
  27. referred to as "shareware". What this means is that not only they are not copy-protected, but 
  28. you are actually urged to give copies to your friends. 
  29. The only restrictions are that this document must always accompany the tools and that you 
  30. cannot modify them, sell them, or include them on a disk which is sold without my prior written 
  31. consent (this also applies to PD distribution outfits such as, but not limited to, BudgetBytes, 
  32. MacClub Benelux, Educomp et al.).

  34. I sincerely hope you'll find these SuperTools useful as an aid to increased productivity.

  36. If you don't, just throw them away and you'll owe me nothing (or better still, tell me what would 
  37. make them useful to you and worth paying for and I'll see what I can do to satisfy you).

  39. If you do, and therefore decide to keep them in your software collection, I ask that you abide by 
  40. the shareware code of honour and pay for them.

  42. The licence fee is a modest $25US and I’ll acknowledge your payment by sending you an 
  43. 800K disk with the latest version of these programs plus a copy of as many of my other 
  44. shareware programs as will fit on the disk. Sending me your registration fee will also ensure that 
  45. I keep improving these programs (possibly implementing one of your own suggestions - or bug 
  46. correction) and write other reasonably priced utilities.
